Chateau on the Mountain

Mvc019f2250x187 My husband and I needed a peaceful getaway, but could only find a weekend out of our busy schedules. We chose Chateau on the Mountain because of the beautiful pictures on the website, especially the view. When we wound our way through a small country road and up, up, up to this beautiful house, we knew we had a good chance for relaxation. We stayed in the 950 square foot Biltmore Suite, which although expensive is worth every penny with its huge jacuzzi tub and steam shower. We relaxed on our private porch. Watched the sun go down off of our private patio (separate from the porch) and cuddled in a double lounge chair in front of the fire at night.

The innkeepers, Jeanne and Lee, were the best, always seeming to know what we wanted and when; we truly felt like welcome guests in this lovely manor. The gourmet breakfasts were magnificently done with exquisite presentations. And the view! The pictures really do not do it justice. We did not go anywhere but instead wandered and hiked on the 10 beautiful acres. But there is much to see and do in Hendersonville. That will be for another time; for now we left as relaxed as if we had taken off an entire week. We would highly reccomend it and will certainly return!
