New book about the area:  Lynda Schultz, Chapel Hill author, releasess her first novel The Shortest Path Home Is Through The Heart at Turning Point Gallery on October 20, 2007.  The book revolves around the adventures of Mattie Rose Annie Lizbeth Radley, two spunky ten year old fraternal twins growing up in Durham, NC in the early 1960’s.
Deep Dish Theater live theater begins its 7th season in University Mall. HOW I GOT THAT STORY by Amlin Gray, directed by Paul Frellick August 23 – September 15 An“embedded” war reporter tries to get a handle on a culture he doesn’tknow while covering a conflict he doesn’t understand. A fiercely theatrical comedy of nightmare proportions.
