In This Issue Pairing of the Passions Holiday Inn & Home Tour	Mark your calendars for Dorsets greatest upcoming events!! They are not to be missed. The Dorset Inn's 4th Annual Art & Cheese Event "A Pairing of Passions" A Visual and Culinary Art Experience--With Special Guests THE SILVERTONES On December 8 and 9, The Dorset Inn will host a special event in celebration of local artistry. The event brings together a variety of artistic talents including the exquisite photography of Josh Axelrod, the unique and beautiful pottery of Nick Seidner & Diane Rosenmiller of Rising Meadow Pottery and the palate-pleasing art of local cheese making. Cheese makers from across the state will offer samples of their fine assorted cheeses ranging from cheddar to gouda and more. Sissy Hicks, chef and owner of The Dorset Inn, will also provide hot apple cider & a variety of exquisite hors d'oeuvres that showcase just a few of her favorite cheese dishes. This event is open and free to the public. In addition to the event this year we have special guests, The Silvertones from Strath Haven High School, Pennsylvania.  The Silvertones is a select ensemble of 32 voices of men and women, specializing in early a cappella music, including music of 16th century Italy and music by Bach, Buxtehude, Palestrina and Rachmaninoff.  Beyond concerts for community groups through out the Philadelphia Region, The Silvertones have performed at Verizon Hall in the Kimmel Center and have given five concert tours in different regions of Italy.  The Pennsylvania Music Educators' Association recognized The Silvertones as one of Pennsylvania's finest small vocal ensembles in 1996, 2002 and 2005. The Silvertones will perform at the Dorset Playhouse Saturday Dec. 8th 8pm.  Tickets are for sale upon first come first serve.  The artist showcase will be from 11 am until 6 pm each day. Dorset Holiday House & Inn Tour Saturday & Sunday December 15th and 16th 12-4pm   Stroll through Dorset to view Holiday Decorations.  Relax in front of fireplaces to nibble on cookies and sip something hot.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on tour day.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Community Sharing, which provides food and gifts to needy families throughout the area.  Tickets are available at The Dorset Inn.  During the tour stop at the Dorset Inn for a hot lunch (11:30am-2pm). www.dorsetinn.com   877.367.7389 Sincerely, Misse Doe Dorset Inn
