Brownstone Real Estate Awarded Business Stewared of the Year!

Brownstone Real Estate Awarded Business Steward of the Year by the Lebanon County Conservation District

Todd Lechleither, Broker/Owner and Scott Campbell, President/Owner of Brownstone Real Estate Company were recently honored with the Lebanon County Conservation District’s Business Steward of the Year Award.  Brownstone, a family-owned real estate firm established in 1971, was given the award for its use of green strategies and conservation efforts in developing the stormwater management system for the Villages at Springbrook Farms, located in Campbelltown.  A low impact community comprised of carriage homes and townhomes, the Villages at Springbrook Farms is unique in Lebanon County for its innovative green-technology stormwater infiltration system.

Brownstone worked closely with South Londonderry Township officials in a concentrated effort to optimize the system and insure the most effective method of stormwater management.  Utilizing rain gardens, surface and subsurface infiltration beds, porous concrete, pervious asphalt and native plants and grasses, the Village at Springbrook Farms is a prime example of responsible land development.  Because stormwater management is addressed at the source, contaminants such as fertilizers, pet waste, pesticides and other potentially detrimental toxins are prevented from washing into springs and streams, preserving water quality for all area residents.

Brownstone Real Estate received the Business Steward of the Year Award at the Lebanon Conservation District’s annual awards banquet and was one of several recipients honored for various awards.  Brownstone Real Estate is a full service real estate firm offering residential and commercial properties, new home communities, relocation services, land development, title, mortgage and insurance.  With offices in Hershey and Lebanon, the company has 65 agents and is in its 38th year of business, serving the Central Pennsylvania area.  Visit Brownstone on the web at www.brwnstone.com.  For more detailed information on the Village at Springbrook Farms and its stormwater management approach, see www.VillageSBF.com.
